How to cook ribs in Coca Cola sauce?

Instructions –

  1. Add Coca-Cola to a saucepan and whisk in brown sugar, garlic, thyme, salt, pepper and cornstarch.
  2. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly until thickened.
  3. Remove from heat and cool completely.
  4. Pat ribs dry and place on a rimmed baking sheet.
  5. Pour half of Coca-Cola Sauce over ribs and marinate 1 hour. Refrigerate if marinating ahead, up to 4 hours. Reserve remaining sauce for grilling.
  6. Prepare a grill fire to about 350° using hickory for smoke flavor.
  7. Place ribs, meat side down on the grill over direct fire for 5 minutes to sear.
  8. Flip ribs and move to indirect heat. Coat with remaining sauce and cook with the grill lid closed until ribs reach 180-190* internal temperature.
  9. Remove ribs from the grill and allow to rest 10 minutes before slicing.
